Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin Celebrating 300 Issues

Bradley Beach, NJ - March 17, 2008 -- 300 years. 300 episodes. 300 shows complete with curtain calls. All of these are noteworthy accomplishments worth celebrating. So how about 300 issues? That's what the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin recently celebrated.

How did the Bulletin last for 300 issues? That's easy: keeping the goal in mind that was set eight years ago when it started. The goal was to be an informative, fun newsletter at the Shore, for the Shore, by a Shore resident. That's how the Bulletin was born. In the summer of 1996 some employees of Lone Keep Internet, Inc., the Bulletin's parent company, thought it would be fun and helpful to publish via email a local e-newsletter about the Jersey Shore and what was happening here. The format would be simple and would include a letter from the editor and some local events going on in the area.

The first issue was published and sent out to current clients of Lone Keep, Internet, Inc., friends and family. It was well received and so a second issue was published about six weeks later. Folks began to forward the newsletter to friends and co-workers. Before they knew it, the Bulletin was growing in readership and readers were sending information to be included for upcoming events.

By the end of the first year, the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin had close to 2,000 readers, was expanding to include even more events, was being published on a regular monthly basis and was responsible for having reunited friends at local events! Over the years the Bulletin has changed. It now offers local businesses the opportunity to sponsor issues to reach a local market. Readership has grown to close to 11,000 subscribers in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Due to popular request from readers the newsletter is now published twice every month (the 1st and 3rd Mondays) and just this summer from June thru August it was published every Monday due to reader request. The newsletter now includes a "Quote of the Issue", a "From the Readers" section to let others know about what's going on and an "FYI" section for organizations/ groups to let readers know about meetings.

However a few things still remain the same. The newsletter is still free to subscribers. The Bulletin still maintains its goal of being about the Shore, for the Shore and by a Shore resident. "As long as I live here at the Shore I will continue to publish what's going on and what's best about the Shore. I am proud of the Bulletin and take great satisfaction in knowing that people in the area look forward to receiving the newsletter and enjoy going to the local events," said Karen E. Jarosz, Editor of the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin.

So after twelve years, 300 issues, many sponsors, thousands of local events and many emails of appreciation a celebration is in order! Rest assured though the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin plans on getting down to work to be able to celebrate the next 300 issues as well. After all as long as there is a Jersey Shore and events to attend the Bulletin will be going strong. To read the Bulletin, be added to the subscriber list to receive the Bulletin or learn how to sponsor issues to promote your business go to www.lonekeep.com/jscib or call Karen E. Jarosz at 732-988-4044.

Lone Keep Internet Celebrates Its 20th Year

Jersey Shore Area, NJ, December 15, 2003 - Imagine 20 years from now. Where will you be? What will you be doing? 20 years is quite a long time. It's a long time for a band to be together making music or for a couple to be married. Both are a challenge in today's world. Yet that is how long Lone Keep Internet has been gallantly serving the Jersey Shore.

Lone Keep Systems, as it was known in 1988, came about when President and CEO, Richard M.J. Jarosz, felt the need to share his computer expertise with small businesses in the shore area. At the time Lone Keep Systems offered individuals computer training on various programs and set up computer systems for businesses that were beginning to utilize computers for record keeping. In addition Lone Keep Systems offered a Microsoft Works course in the evenings through the Toms River adult school program. It was quite successful and Lone Keep Internet was on its way.

Then in the mid 1990's the computer world saw changes. "Our clients brought us the net," states Richard M.J. Jarosz, President of Lone Keep Internet, Inc. "We had businesses approach us with a need for access to the web and create web sites. They wanted to know if Lone Keep Systems could handle their new needs." Always up for a challenge and willing to grow, Lone Keep Systems evolved into Lone Keep Internet, Inc. The company changed direction and began offering clients internet access as well as web site design. Long time clients were excited to be able to update and expand their business yet still maintain their relationship with Lone Keep Systems, who had been servicing their computer needs for years already. At the same time the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin, an email newsletter about local events, was launched to reach out to residents.

Soon the question was raised. What good is a website if no one knows about it? Promotion on the web became the next challenge Lone Keep Internet would take on. Websites were now becoming faster to download and more animated with programs such as Flash. Placement in search engines was becoming key. With training and the hiring of new staff Lone Keep Internet proudly introduced its promotional division, Towne Crier and more recently, ShoreGuide.Info. Both are designed to promote businesses in primarily Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Ever changing and growing are the words to describe Lone Keep Internet, Inc. Dedicated and helpful are the qualities that define the staff of Lone Keep Internet, Inc. "We are in the business of solving people's technical frustrations whatever that may be to each individual or business," states Karen E. Jarosz, Vice President and Editor of the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin. If you have a technical challenge that Lone Keep Internet, Inc. can help you with, give us a call at 732-988-4044 and we will be happy to assist you in easing the frustration.

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds with a variety of different needs. Click here to read how Lone Keep has helped other small businesses succeed!

"Lone Keep consistently delivers the results I need to make my business grow. Last year, my goal was to drive more business through my website. Lone Keep was able to drastically increase my internet presence, which resulted in direct sales."
