Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin Publishes 100th Issue

Jersey Shore Area, NJ, February 5, 2001 - JSCIB is the free email newsletter that gets the word out about local events and web sites. We are proud to announce that this week we are publishing the 100th issue of the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin (JSCIB). The Bulletin published on the first and third Monday of each month reaches over 4000 readers on the Jersey Shore.

The Bulletin, which has been around since August 1996, has brought old friends together. In one issue a classic car show that was taking place was listed. It turns out that two couples ran into each other at the show that hadn't seen each other in years. They both read about the event in the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin. Talk about a small world!

The JSCIB has also been there to help out people in need. Recently, a note was placed in the issue from a mother of a young boy diagnosed with cancer. He was in need of a particular type of blood for transfusions. Thanks to the generous response of the JSCIB readers the boy received the needed blood and is on his way to recovery!

The Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin is the fastest way to read about the free or low cost events happening in the parks, the libraries, in the theaters and on the boardwalks and streets of your Jersey Shore.

According to Karen Jarosz, its Editor, it's "The latest about the Jersey Shore on the Internet." To find out more or to subscribe visit http://www.lonekeep.com/jscib  or call Karen Jarosz at 732-988-4044. Karen may also be reached at karen@lonekeep.com .

Lone Keep Announces Towne Crier Promotion Services

If A Tree Fell In a Forest Department...
Jersey Shore, NJ, February 25, 1998 - Now that everyone from your teenage baby-sitter to the largest conglomerate has a website, how can you know if your particular business or service will even be noticed amid the ever-expanding clutter of the Internet?

Lone Keep Internet provides an answer in the form of a new division called Towne Crier Promotions (http://www.towne-crier.com/), a service specifically created to meet the needs of individuals and businesses who want to get maximum attention in cyberspace. To kick off this new service, Town Crier Promotions will be conducting a Give Away Promotion. All you need to do is visit the website and learn how to enter the weekly drawings.

"People still hold to magical thinking; they hope that posting a website will automatically bring the world to their doorstep. In fact, having a website address by itself is no more effective for bringing in business than putting in another phone line. If you don’t put the word out that is, if you don’t advertise, market and publish your website address then, chances are, your website will just sit there, unnoticed," explains Richard M.J. Jarosz, a principal of Lone Keep Internet, and Towne Crier’s leading expert on site promotion.

"It’s critical that your site will appear in various search engines, and that your business or your website is promoted in areas of cyberspace where prospective clients might be surfing. There’s so much out there, most people would be hard pressed to analyze all their options and find the best promotional avenues, let alone discover the registration requirements and procedures for each search engine, each directory, each specialized area that might profit their particular enterprise. That’s where we come in. We not only have the expertise, but we can commit the hours necessary to setting up the best links to meet our customer’s marketing objectives."

Towne Crier Promotions joins Lone Keep Internet and Lone Keep Systems as a new division of the rapidly-growing, Bradley Beach-based firm focused particularly on service to Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Lone Keep Internet also publishes the Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin, a free e-mail newsletter providing upcoming events and announcements for the Monmouth shore area.

To receive more information on Towne Crier Promotions, Lone Keep Internet, and Lone Keep Systems' services, or to request a free subscription to the Jersey Shore Community Information newsletter, you can e-mail the company at towne-crier@lonekeep.com, or call 732-988-4044.

World Wide Web Used Locally

Bradley Beach, NJ, April 15,1997. We all have heard about the latest craze, the "World Wide Web". But did you know that the "web" can be used locally? The Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin (JSCIB) is such a method to achieve this.

Let us first examine who uses the "web" and our area's demographics. The average internet user is Male, age 18 - 54 (45%), and has a household income of over $50K/year (38%). According to the Municipal Reference Guide: New Jersey, Monmouth County is 47% Male with an average income of $21K/year.

So, who can use the web? Local organizations, businesses and even municipalities utilize the web for many purposes. Local organizations currently out there on the web include the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and the Southern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. We hear that the Blood Bank is currently working on their site. Believe it or not, towns, hospitals, churches, schools, parks, and even the Arts Center now have sites to inform the World and Local communities about events and important information. What vehicles do these organizations use to inform others of what's new?

The Jersey Shore Community Information Bulletin is a Free Email Newsletter, edited by Karen E. Jarosz and on its 11th Issue. Each issue has in it free or low cost events and happenings listed. It also lists events submitted by its readership and each issue brings you information about websites that concern themselves with the Jersey Shore, Monmouth County or New Jersey in general. "Our purpose is to bring the world to the fingertips of the people in the Jersey Shore Area," according to Karen E. Jarosz, editor.

The subscription is free and issues are released about every 3 weeks. To subscribe send an e-mail to jerseyshore@lonekeep.com with the word SUBSCRIBE in the body text.

THE FOODBANK IS ON-LINE
Look for us on the Web, thanks to our friends at Lone Keep Internet.

Spring Lake, NJ. February 24, 1997. The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties is now the proud owner of its own web page. The Foodbank's web site address is: http://www.lonekeep.com/foodbank.

Brooke Tarabour, Executive Director of the Foodbank, announced this new communication link. "While The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties is a local organization, concentrating our efforts on providing food, training, and other programs to alleviate the hunger problem in our community, a presence on the Internet is very important in our work. Having a web site gives us the ability to contact and receive information from a wide variety of sources, regionally and nationally We are always trying to find new and better ways to get more food and more information out."

The Foodbank web site was created for the Foodbank by designer Richard Jarosz of Lone Keep Internet, a Bradley Beach Internet provider and website design company. The site is several pages long and was designed to give background information about the operation of the Foodbank, as well as provide up-to-the-minute data about current activities. "We designed the site so that it would not only tell web browsers about the organization, but would also be another resource when they need to reach out beyond the local community for information and ideas," said Rich. "We know what the Foodbank does for people here is important. If we help them, we know they'll be able to help others."

For more information about the Foodbank check out the web site at URL http://www.lonekeep.com/foodbank, or call Brooke at 732-974-2265.
