From Washington, DC: coming from the Capital Beltway, exit 19-a (Route 50 east/John Hanson Highway). Exit at route 3 North. Follow route 3 north 2 miles to route 450 east. Turn right onto route 450 east. Proceed 6 miles to the intersection of 450 and Crownsville road and turn left at light. Proceeded .5 mile and the festival is on the right.
From Inside Baltimore: from I-695 take exit 4 to I-97 towards Annapolis. Exit 5 toward Crownsville, follow to third light and turn right onto Crownsville road. Proceed 1.5 miles to fair on left.

Markland Hastings Faire
11 AM to 5 PM both days
Marietta Mansion, Glen Dale, Maryland
Low entrance fee (determined by the mansion - all gate proceeds go to the
mansion, an historic site). Lots of things to see and do - even for the
kiddies.
2 big battle reenactments daily - both Hastings and the Battle of Stamford
Bridge (choreographed fighing with real weapons)
around 20-25 merchants, also a variety of entertainments - dancing, music,
games, etc.
