Chess Fest 2003
Asbury Park

The 5th Annual Chess Fest on the Asbury Park Boardwalk took place on Saturday, September 22, 2003. Over 75 children participated in this free event which was hosted by Prevention First and presented by New Jersey Resources. The goal of this event to get children to focus on healthy activities that will help them remain drug-free into adulthood. Ten chess experts and masters donated their time and trophies were awarded to those who bested the chess masters.
