A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz (Karen@lonekeep.com)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hello there! I hope everyone is well and got everything they wanted over the holiday... It
is hard to believe that the new year is upon us already! Have any of you given thought to
your new year's resolution? Perhaps it will be to exercise more regularly or take some
time to learn a new hobby (me, I am going to try getting on the web more and learning
about more sites) or maybe you're hoping to get in more leisure time with the family.
Whatever you resolve to do in 1997 I hope that the new year is a happy, healthy and
prosperous one for all of you. I also look forward to hearing from more of you in the
coming year to let me know what you think of the bulletin. Please send me local happenings
that you'd like included in upcoming issues. I try to publish one every third Monday of
the month but the farther the advance notice the better chance of your event being
included! Thanks again for all the positive feedback and pats on the back, it really
helps! Happy New Year!! Karen

RoseGardens, now's the time to consider what to do with the roses that had just surged and
made all those new branches. You might want to consider NOT cutting them, instead they can
be pegged to increase their buds so that you'll have more blooms this Spring! First
measure their height and whether they can be gently lowered to near ground level and
placed in a lateral position,if they can you're cooking! Let me know.
