A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz ( Karen@lonekeep.com )
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to our sponsor, Carrington Carpets. Happy New Year!! Hope everyone had a wonderful
holiday! Have you made your New Year's Resolution yet? I never did like the sound of that
so instead I choose to do a Dream Board. What's that you ask? Well, basically it is a
piece
of oaktag that I use to glue pictures from magazines on. What are these pictures of? Well,
things I would like to achieve during the year such as a trip or eating fruit or reading 2
books
a month. Now if I can't find a picture then I attempt to draw it on the board. When the
board
is done to my satisfaction, I then put it on the side of my fridge. There it stays through
the year as a quiet reminder of what I wish to achieve. It also lets others see so perhaps
they can assist me in achieving them. It also starts up very interesting conversations!
I have been doing this now for five years and know what? It WORKS! I have achieved many
things I probably would not have if that board was not there. It is not so much about what
is on the board but about goals that I have set and can achieve. Goals that are important
to me.
I think the board works because most of us are visual people. Think about and maybe even
try it, you never know....
Remember if you know of any upcoming events, please email me so I can include them for
FREE.
We publish the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month. Don't forget you can sponsor an issue
too!
Just go to www.lonekeep.com/jscib and click on
sponsor.
Until January 17th, dream on....

Photography club in Monmouth County. I know that there is one for Ocean county
but would like to find one a little closer to home. I had spoke with
someone once and was told there was a photography club that met
in Colts Neck. I would be grateful for any help you might have.
