Thanks to David Wilson of Passion Cash Flow Solutions for sponsoring this issue. First I
would like to congratulate my friend, Therese Iliff, who is the newest Mrs. New Jersey
and went on to Texas last week to compete in the Mrs. US and WON! She is the FIRST Mrs.
New Jersey to win the Mrs. US title! I am so proud of this dynamite woman! You go girl!
It's hard to believe that it is Labor Day already! Not to mention the LAST one of the
century... I hope it is a restful one for all of you. Be sure to take some time to relax
and be with the people you care about. Do something fun! Check out the many happenings
below for some ideas.
Also, good luck to all those returning to school this week. Study hard and be your best
self. That's all you can do...

September 9 - Using Computers In Music Education For Children & Adults will be
presented by Tess Nielsen, of Music School of Tomorrow at 7:00 pm at the Wall Township
Library.
September 11 - A. Kastner's Family Tae Kwon Do will hold a Black Belt Extravagnza at Manasquan Elementary School. It will be from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Join us for a night of fun & surprises as the Black Belts perform and some test for new ranks! I will be there as I am a yellow belt at the school...
September 11 - Ocean Grove will hold its Annual Fall Flea Market with hundreds of vendors with antiques collectibles and more. The Flea Market begins at 9 am on Ocean Pathway.
September 11 - Today is Brielle Day. The day will run from 9 am to 4 pm and will offer crafts, food and fun. It is being held next to the Brielle Library.
September 12- The Night on Broadway Company will perform at The Secret Garden Restaurant on Ocean Pathway in Ocean Grove. Dinner and the show is $34 per person and begins at 7 pm. For reservations call 775-0616.
September 12 - Jazz Concert by the John Colianni Trio will begin at 2:00 pm at the Eastern Branch Library, Shrewsbury.
September 12 - The 2nd Annual GPU Energy-Commerce Bank Rock 'n Ride Bike Tour on beautiful Long Beach Island. The day of fun is packed with music, prizes and family fun. Riders can move at any pace and take in all the wonderful sights of Long Beach Island. Friends, coworkers, neighbors and employers will support bikers by pledging money for every mile a biker rides. All proceeds benefit American Red Cross services. For registration information, call 1-888-853-6550, ext. 19
September 12 - The Pine Creek Railroad Historic Allaire State Park will hold their Annual Railroaders Day Celebration froon 12 noon to 4:30 pm. There will be operating trains of all types, displays, music and much more! Train fare is $2.50 a person and the rest is FREE! Call 938-5524 for details.
September 14 - Past Life Regression Therapy lecture will be hosted by Holistic Health Association at 7:00 pm at the Eastern Branch Library, Shrewsbury.
September 18 - There will be a huge yard sale at Monmouth Park Race Track in Oceanport. The sale will run from 8 am to 1 pm.
September 18/19 - The Pt. Pleasant Lions are sponsoring a number of events in Pt.Pleasant Beach. On Saturday, there will be the 22nd Annual 5 mile run through the town starting at 9:30 am. A one-mile fun run will start at 9am. This year we are giving away a mountain bike and color TV through a random drawing for anyone who signs up to race. Pre-registration is $12, and $15 after September 10. Trophies will also be awarded to all age brackets and male and female finishers from first to third place. On Sunday, there will be the 29th annual Hey Rube Get A Tube Grand Innertube Race at Jenkinsons Beach. Prior to the event will be the Innertube Parade down Arnold Avenue at 1pm. The race starts at 2:30pm. A Craft show is also taking place between 10-4pm on the boardwalk. Lots of fun stuff. Call for more information at 732-714-9750 or 732-714-9749
September 18 - The Annual Giant Flea Market will be held at Allaire Village. It will run from 9 am to 3 pm.
September 23 - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth County will hold its Tenth Annual
Golf Classic on Thursday, September 23rd at the Spring Lake Golf Club in Spring Lake, New
Jersey. Registration Deadline is September 10. Registration starts at 10:30 AM. Lunch is
from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. The shotgun start is at 12:30 PM. Call 544-2224 for information

The Heart of New Jersey Chorus is a women's chorus and chapter of
sweet adelines international. There are 60 singers presently and they
are looking to grow to 70 this year.They manage to have fun while
working hard every Wednesday evening.They meet during the school year
on Rt. 79 in Marlboro and at Monmouth Reform Temple during the summer.
