I'd first like to wish congratulations to any and all graduates out there!
I especially picked the Quote of the Issue for them! However, I think it
something we should all keep in mind...

Well, its official now, Summer started! There is something about a blue-skied summer
afternoon that just makes me want ot be outdoors. Hopefully with all there is to do at the Shore
I hope you'll be able to get and enjoy some of the great summertime weather. Go to a park, spend a
day at the beach, check out a book from the local library or take in a free concert on the boardwalk.
Whatever your fancy, ENJOY! Speaking of summer events, I will be representing Bradley Beach on July 11th at the Mrs.New Jersey International Pageant at the Somerset Marriott. Wish me luck!! I'll keep

LOCAL HAPPENINGS AND EVENTS

June 23 - The Southern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce is holding a cocktail party at The Old Mill Inn. The Winners of the Annual Golden Osprey Award will be announced. Our own Richard Jarosz will be receiving the Osprey for Outstanding Service to the Chamber. The cost is $12 a person and the cocktail party begins at 5:30 pm.

June 24 - Fireworks will be displayed at 9 pm at the South Beach end of Point Pleasant. This is FREE to all.

June 26 - Jenkinson's Aquarium will be holding a Fossil Quest Workshop. It is from 8:30 am to 1 pm at the Aquarium. Check out their site below for details

June 25 - Billy Lawlor Band will be performing on the Main St. Beach in Manasquan. The concert will be from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

June 27 - Shark River Hills First Aid Annual Summer Dance Fund Raiser will be at 6pm at The Headliner in Neptune. The Verdict--the shores hottest reggae band, will be performing and there will be Volleyball, a deck party, drink specials and more. There is a $5 donation. Call 988-1880 for more info or email SRHFAS@AOL.com

June 27 - The 63rd Army Band will perform a concert at 7:30 pm. It will be held at Squan Plaza

June 27 - The Salvation Army Band will perform at the Gazebo in Bradley Beach. The concert will be from 5 to 6 pm

June 29 - Double D Production will be giving dance instruction and playing Country Western music at the Gazebo in Bradley Beach.. The fun begins at 7:30 pm

June 29 - Join Rogues on the Run for a concert at the Spring Lake Gazebo starting at 7:30 PM

June 30 - Join Dorothy Sikora and Robert Elinson at the Gazebo in Bradley Beach for music from the '30's and '40's as well as Broadway. The music begins at 7:30 pm

July 1 - Enjoy music from the Oldies to the '80's with Sal Russo and Brent at the Gazebo in Bradley Beach. The music starts at 7:30 pm

July 2 - DJ Joe D'Angelo is back at the Gazebo in Bradley Beach spinning the sounds. He starts at 7:30 pm

July 2 - Join Rogues on the Run at the 18th Ave Beach House in South Belmar. Call 732-681-3111 for directions or more info. There is a $3 cover

July 3 - Manasquan will host a Gala 4th Celebration at 7pm with music provided by Nick Perrone. Fireworks will be about 9 pm on the Main St. Beach

July 4 - A giant Flea Market will be held at Squan Plaza from 8 am to 3 pm hosted by the Ladies Aux. Volunteer Engine Co #2

July 4 - Celebrate the 4th in Bradley Beach with the wonderful fireworks of Serpico International at the Brinley Ave Beach at 9pm.

The Heart of New Jersey Chorus is a women's chorus and chapter of
sweet adelines international. There are 60 singers presently and they
are looking to grow to 70 this year.They manage to have fun while
working hard every Wednesday evening.They meet during the school year
on Rt. 79 in Marlboro and at Monmouth Reform Temple during the summer.
