A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Richard M.J. Jarosz (richard@lonekeep.com)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Greetings from Karen (I snuck in and got the computer from Rich!) It amazes me what one will find and who you meet on the internet. Case in point is recently Rich celebrated a birthday and I wanted to do something special for him. Well as I was browsing on the internet, I came across the NJ B & B association on the internet. Aha, why not a weekend away? So I picked out two or three that sound like fun and called. Within an hour I had reservations at an inn in the heart of Cape May! Talk about easy and boy was Rich surprised!

Another story to relate about the wonder of the internet is about something we mentioned in our last issue. If you page down we like to include local happenings and we are very happy to include ones from local readers (see below). Well we posted a local happening of the Wing and Bonnet Car Rally at Gertrude Brown's. Well one reader read about it and let us know that thanks to that posted submission they met up with the group and some long lost friends at the rally! Aha the wonder of technology... I can say it made my day!! So, please absolutely submit your local community happenings and sites of interest because you never know who you might help or meet. Of course thanks again for your feed back and let us know what you are happy with or would like to see. Take care for now and keep warm.... Karen

From: GardenNatv@AOL.COM
RoseGardens, now's the time to consider what to do with the roses that had just surged and made all those new branches. You might want to consider NOT cutting them, instead they can be pegged to increase their buds so that you'll have more blooms this Spring! First measure their height and whether they can be gently lowered to near ground level and placed in a lateral position,if they can you're cooking! Let me know.
