A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz (Karen@lonekeep.com)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hello there! Hope all is well and that the cool days of autumn are treating you well.
Response once again seems to be pouring in and I thank everyone for taking a few minutes
out to read our bulletin as well as let us know that you like what we are doing. I truly
appreciate all the feedback!! Please feel free to let us know what you like and what you
want to see that maybe we have not included. Also please feel free to give me info for
upcoming community events that you think would be of interest to folks. I appreciate all
the help and so do new people in the area looking for things to do.... As for the last
issue you might remember we asked for suggestions for what to do with disks and CDs
to
recycle them. Well we got some very creative and entertaining ideas. Id like to
share some of these with you:
From KWVG70A@prodigy.com it was suggested to
use the disks as a background for a computer wreath to put on the door of her computer
lab. With a little hot glue and some computer parts
you can make a neat wreath and recycle as well. It was also suggested to drill a hole and
put a chain through and make a key chain!
From GNENDL@aol.com we received a list of top ten
things to do! Some of my favorites were: pieplates to keep birds off vineyard, drill holes
and hang as a mobile, bicycle or mailbox reflectors, ornaments for a Christmas tree for
the office, coaster for drinks and my favorite, party decorations for a disco themed
party!
Great ideas and ones I plan to try...
Remember to keep us in mind for local events that you wish to spread the word about and if
you should awake in the middle of the night with any brainstorms for us please feel free
to email us at JerseyShore@lonekeep.com or Karen@lonekeep.com. Thanks and Happy Reading!
(Maybe next time I get to say something again!! Richard@lonekeep.com)
