A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah, yes. It is that time of year again, Back to School! As many of you know, I am a teacher. You might also recall that I look upon this time of year as my second New Year's Day. I look forward to the start of the school year with excitement and a bit of anxiety. I am excited to meet new students, share new knowledge and learn new things myself. This year in particular I will be learning many new things as I am teaching a new grade and have taken on a new role of leadership. So I am a bit more nervous then usual. However, I am anxious because of the huge responsibility I face. I greet my new students with high expectations and I don't want to fail them. I believe that each of them have endless potential and it is my sacred responsibility to help each one of my students to see their potential and to do everything in our power together to help them reach it. They are little acorns and inside waiting to burst forth is that mighty oak. I often remind myself that sitting in front of me is a future President, inventor, doctor, soldier or even a teacher, who might have been inspired by me to go into teaching. The possibilities are endless! I guess that is why I love teaching. I have no doubt that nothing is impossible if you work hard and just believe!!! So what teacher helped you become the mighty oak you are today? Take a moment to think of them or if possible thank them. I know they would appreciate it!
Until September 6th, remind yourself of the possibilities that lie within you and that you are a mighty oak,
Karen

"What A Difference A Day Makes", a new book by Connor Fleming III Good Guys, Bad Guys, and Everyone In-Between
Mr. Fleming's second book is a humorous, organized crime, love story. Think "Romeo and Juliet" meet "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight". This funny, heartwarming, and, at times, harrowing tale of star-crossed lovers, will have you standing up and rooting for Donny and Anna to survive against a myriad of bad guys, dangers, and everything that the netherworld of organized crime can throw at them. With the help of Donny's grandmother, the fearless and vengeful Nonna Francesca (the Godfather of Grandmothers), their chances for love and a happily-ever-after improve dramatically. You will also meet the most incredible array of tough, scary, greedy, and bone-headed gangsters ever to grace the printed page along with an equally colorful assortment of friends, relatives, acquaintances, and other characters who populate their world. This book makes a wonderful summer read. To find out more about this book, please go to Mr. Fleming's website: www.connorfleming.com To order the book directly from the publisher, you can use the following link: https://www.createspace.com/3429508

Unless you've suffered the heartache personally, it's hard to imagine the array of emotions you experience as you hold a sick puppy in your arms at 3:00 am. There are many sick puppies being sold in Monmouth and Ocean counties from both breeders and puppy stores. Should you or someone you know purchase one of these bundles of love and it turns out to be sick, you need to go to a new website dedicated solely to the reporting of sick puppies in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The website is www.ReportSickPuppies.com

Potter Pest Control

More than just eating up all your food and being a general nuisance, carpenter ants can cause extensive damage to your home's infrastructure, and for every one you do see, there could be hundreds more hiding in the walls.

Carpenter ants damage wood and insulation by excavating tunnels, and they are capable of causing more harm to your home than even termites. Fortunately, a carpenter ant problem is entirely controllable under professional care.
