A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz (Karen@lonekeep.com)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Ah, summertime! As a kid I lived for this time of the year! As a grown up, I still do!
It is a time for slowing down, porch sitting, reading and relaxing! Hope that you'll
get to do some of this, too! There is plenty to do as is evident by the Local Happenings!
That is only a sampling of what's to do in the area! Pick a few and enjoy! Be sure to let
me know if you are aware of any events coming up to be included in the next issue.
In honor of our anniversary (Two years next month!), I'd like to do something for my
readers.
We started a contest called "Triple Play!" The way it works is that in each
issue I
will print an event or link three times. The readers who email me the correct event or
link
and correct issue will be placed into a monthly drawing to win three issues worth of a
sponsor ad, a $120
value!
Hence, the name "Triple Play!" You can email your entries to
tripleplay@lonekeep.com and include the
phrase
and the newsletter issue number/date. See the "Triple Play! Contest" section for
additional details.
The first drawing will be held the end of July, so get those emails in...
Don't forget you can sponsor an issue too. Just go to www.lonekeep.com/jscib and click
on sponsor.
Until July 20th, breath deep, take in the sun, read a book and enjoy!
Karen
