Quote of the Issue:

I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing.
                                                           Agatha Christie (1890 - 1976)

A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Spring has arrived and it brings with it new life in nature, hope of more pleasant weather and a sense of happiness. Folks generally seem to be more upbeat once the spring weather arrives. I often wonder is it because of the sense of  new life that nature brings? Granted rough patches can befall us during any season and we can feel stressed any day of the year but in the light of a spring day it seems more manageable. You can get out and head to the beach to clear your head, take a walk and rid yourself of the stress that you feel or take a bike ride to re-energize your spirit. How strange and reassuring this phenomenon is. Now the warmer weather it seems that there is so much more to do in the area. So be sure to treat yourself to some down time and head out to enjoy a Local Happening.
Until June 7th, get out there and LIVE,
Karen

Unless you've suffered the heartache personally, it's hard to imagine the array of emotions you experience as you hold a sick puppy in your arms at 3:00 am. There are many sick puppies being sold in Monmouth and Ocean counties from both breeders and puppy stores. Should you or someone you know purchase one of these bundles of love and it turns out to be sick, you need to go to a new website dedicated solely to the reporting of sick puppies in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The website is www.ReportSickPuppies.com

Potter Pest Control

More than just eating up all your food and being a general nuisance, carpenter ants can cause extensive damage to your home's infrastructure, and for every one you do see, there could be hundreds more hiding in the walls.

Carpenter ants damage wood and insulation by excavating tunnels, and they are capable of causing more harm to your home than even termites. Fortunately, a carpenter ant problem is entirely controllable under professional care.
