A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz (Karen@lonekeep.com)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Ah, June! Time for barbeques, the beach and the great outdoors! The days are getting
longer and the
weather is starting to warm up. It won't be long now when we start hearing the humming of
an air
conditioner. It is a great time of year to get out and enjoy all the Shore has to offer.
Go for a walk on the
beach, its looking great! Try a bike ride or rollerblading. What about a picnic in a local
park? How about
picking strawberries or checking out the stars at night? All these fun things are free of
charge and don't
require much equipment. Try one of the local happenings and feel good about spending time
with family
or
friends! Rember to send in your local happenings to be included in
upcoming issues.
We publish the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month so keep that in mind. Also we have opened
nominations
once again for
the next set of Lighthouse Awards. I plan to announce the latest winners on July 6th. This
means I need
nominees by June 30th.
So be on the lookout for noteworthy sites to nominate! Be sure to check out the latest
winners
on the Winners Page at www.lonekeep.com/jscib. You can nominate sites here as well.
Don't forget you can sponsor an issue too. Just go to www.lonekeep.com/jscib and click
on sponsor. Until
June 15th, get out there and enjoy the day!
