Quote of the Issue:

Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness; no laziness; no procrastination;
never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.

                                         Lord Chesterfield (1694 - 1773)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems the holiday season is upon us again! This time of year always seem to make folks crazy and stressed. Yet it is suppose to be a time of peace on earth and good will toward man.... There always seems to be one more gift to buy, one more cookie to bake and one more decoration to be hung. This craziness seems to take all the real meaning and true spirit of the holiday out of it. My wish for all of you this holiday season is that you will take the time to slow down and truly enjoy the season. Make plans to do something special and not stressful with a loved one. Don't worry if you haven't fully decorated or baked all those cookies. Perhaps the best gift you can give this year is the gift of your time and yourself. Be sure to take time to truly enjoy the season before it is gone.
Until December 21st, slow down and truly enjoy each moment of the season,
Karen

Unless you've suffered the heartache personally, it's hard to imagine the array of emotions you experience as you hold a sick puppy in your arms at 3:00 am. There are many sick puppies being sold in Monmouth and Ocean counties from both breeders and puppy stores. Should you or someone you know purchase one of these bundles of love and it turns out to be sick, you need to go to a new website dedicated solely to the reporting of sick puppies in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The website is www.ReportSickPuppies.com

Some of the businesses that donated to this project were The Senior Citizens Activities Network of Monmouth County, Joan of Arc Electrical Contractors of Lincroft , Lone Keep Internet, Inc. of Bradley Beach and Johnny's Garage of Long Branch.
