Quote of the Issue:

While the fates permit, live happily; life speeds on with hurried step,
and with winged days the wheel of the headlong year is turned.

A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Summer is just about a month away from being over. How do I know? They have started with the Back To School ads!! Yet I am not ready to give up the loveliness and leisurely pace of this summer! I am still enjoying the time on the beach, waking up to a sunny morning, the cool breeze on my porch in the late afternoon and the beautiful flowers that are in full bloom!. It is hard to believe that in 3 weeks I will be back at school and the the crazy pace will begin but I do love that time as well. I suppose as the Quote states you need to live happily in the the moment because it goes so quickly. So before the summer is unofficially over what have you not done that you would like to? Be sure to make time to get out and enjoy before the autumn chill arrives or at least before school starts....
Until August 17th, savor these last few weeks of summer,
Karen

PS - I will be speaking at the next Twitter and Tea seminar on Friday, August 28th at the Sixth Ave House in Asbury Park! It is quite lovely and Bob is a gracious host!

From: mikespet@comcast.net
MIKE'S PET CENTER in Neptune has a new pet!
Mike has adopted a 6 year old female Kinkajou named Kaytie.
What is a Kinkajou? It is a mammal that is native to South Americas tropical  forest and is in the same family as the raccoon, but Kaytie originally came from a private breeder in Kansas. Some interesting facts are they have a prehensile tail and they can turn their feet backwards to run either way. She likes a lot of tropical fruits and they also like honey and that is how they got a nickname "Honey Bear" but one of her favorite treats is marshmallows. Kinkajous are nocturnal and are very sweat but shy animals. They live to be about 25years old.

August 14  and September 18
It's a Sopranos parody with tons of audience participation. The "Smiths" are being placed in witness protection and the heads of the various "families" (audience members) are vying for Tony's position as head of the NJ Mob. They're put to the test in various contests: Pizza Tossing. Garroting Technique, etc. It's hilarious. Wait till you see Carmela!
