A WORD OR TWO FROM ME

Ah, patience. As a younger person I was very impatient with life and myself. However, as I have grown more mature (because I am not old....) I have learned to be patient. I try to be especially patient with others and look at things from their perspective, to imagine walking in their shoes so to speak. However, I am still working on being patient with myself. I think most of us are impatient with ourselves because we set higher expectations or standards and just expect things to happen. Yet what I have learned is that setting high expectations is great but you have to understand that there is work involved too. Yes, no one person is perfect and that is okay as long as you realize that truth and work on it patiently.
