Quote of the Issue:

Sooner or later we all quote our mothers.
                                                 Bern Williams

---------------------------------------------------------------------
A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Happy Mother's Day! I know I am early but I saw the Quote of the Issue and just had to pay tribute. Where would we be without our mother's? I know as I grow older I have a deeper love and appreciation for my mother who by the way is the best. She has become someone I respect, admire, love and hope to emulate. As a child I didn't always see her in that way but now I realize all she has done for my brothers and I. The sacrifices she made, the time she gave, the advice she suggested all were out of a deep love for her children. As an adult I see that now and realize how lucky I am to have a mother who loves me so much and a trusted friend that cares so much. My only hope is that I have made her proud and that someday someone will pay me the compliment of saying how I am just like my mother...
Until May 19th, here's to moms everywhere....

From:  THE MAN ABOUT TOWN (DAVID ZIMEL)
Ahh, your morning coffee. Something to look forward to, the start of a new day. While it's important that the coffee be good, where you're having it is also important. On Saturday April 12th, it was my pleasure to have my morning cup at the grand opening of the Barbaric Bean on Main St. in Ocean Grove. The coffee was great, as was the food. But what I truly liked was the atmosphere. An excellent place to linger with friends and family or just read your favorite book. So make your way over to the Barbaric Bean. Even if the rest of your day isn't splendid, you'll know it started off just fine.
