Quote of the Issue:

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.

                                                                                                  Mahatma Gandhi (1869 - 1948)

A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Happiness! What exactly is it? This time of year most folks seem to be happy. Is it the loveliness of spring time that brings with it birds singing in the morning, the sun shining and the flowers in full bloom? Is happiness born from knowing that what you are doing is exactly what you love to do and is fulfilling and meaningful? Perhaps happiness comes from being with those we love. When I hear the word I think of the song Happiness is from the show "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" which happens to be a favorite of mine. The lyrics remind one that happiness is eating an ice cream cone, flying a kite, friends and love. I guess happiness means different things to different folks but it is universal to us all. My wish for all of you this issue is do what makes you happy and share happiness with those around you because the world sure could use it!
Until May 5th, don't worry, be happy
Karen

From:  THE MAN ABOUT TOWN (DAVID ZIMEL)
Ahh, your morning coffee. Something to look forward to, the start of a new day. While it's important that the coffee be good, where you're having it is also important. On Saturday April 12th, it was my pleasure to have my morning cup at the grand opening of the Barbaric Bean on Main St. in Ocean Grove. The coffee was great, as was the food. But what I truly liked was the atmosphere. An excellent place to linger with friends and family or just read your favorite book. So make your way over to the Barbaric Bean. Even if the rest of your day isn't splendid, you'll know it started off just fine.
