A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Richard M.J. Jarosz (Richard@lonekeep.com)
------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings again. The response to the newsletter continues to grow. Over 2,600 positive responses! But where did over 300 AOL users go in the last two weeks?

Reader response was great in pointing out local events that we did not know about. But please remember that we are trying to bring community information to this part of the "net" not advertise peoples businesses. Contact your internet provider for that or contact the people who provide us the resources to do this newsletter, Lone Keep Internet at info@lonekeep.com. Of special interest are websites for the local towns. We listed Red Bank's in this issue, please let us know of others.

Speaking of community information, AOL and internet providers; I have a question. What do you the internet users do with all the AOL, Prodigy and the like disks and CD-ROMs that you receive in the mail, magazines and other strange places? Strange, yes on my last airline flight across the country an AOL disk came with my salted peanuts!!!! I had to open the package containing the disk before I got to my peanuts!!! Does anybody else find this annoying? I guess you can reformat the disks but what about the CD-ROMs, make frisbees out of them???? Send your suggests to JerseyShore@lonekeep.com and we'll publish the more interesting ideas.

Thank you! We here at the JERSEY SHORE COMMUNITY INFORMATION BULLETIN are looking forward to hearing from you again and again.
