A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah, the "dog days" of summer are here! I am amazed at just how fast the summer
is slipping by. Seems like yesterday when we were gearing up and then the 4th of July was
upon us and now we are into August. Before you know it we will be shopping for back to
school supplies... In the meantime there is still plenty of fun to be had. Check out the
Local Happenings for concerts, fairs, book discussions and more to enjoy before the summer
is over. Don't forget to make some quiet time to just relax. Go to a park or the beach at
sunset, read a book on the porch, walk on the boardwalk or in a park. Enjoy the beautiful
Shore before the summer is gone...
Until next Monday, slow down and relax...
Karen

to donate. We will lovingly package and send them to the platoon stationed in Iraq that we
are helping to sponsor. If you can not supply any goods, monetary donations are greatly
appreciated and will be used to purchase specific items on our platoon's wish list. Our

American Soldiers.

sunscreen, skin protectants, lotion, snack items (non-chocolate), baby wipes (which to

ongoing, but the sooner you send - the quicker we can make our soldiers in the field a
little more comfortable. SHIP TO: Brielle Brownie Troop 1740 c/o Sand Scripts PO Box 543
