A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope everyone is enjoy the lovely summertime here at the Shore! There seems to be more and more exciting Local Happenings as the days go by. Hope you all get a chance to pick one or two and take some time to relax. Last night I spent a few hours porch sitting with my very good neighbors and their guests. It was better than any movie, television show or computer game. Now I know why people seemed happier back in the day before electronics... Take some time to porch sit, or sit under a tree and you'll be surprised how relaxed and calm you will feel after. Speaking of before electronics how about the days of the American Revolution! Let's not forget that Sunday is Independence Day!! Please take some time that day to think about all the freedoms we enjoy and our forefathers who gave so much for us to enjoy what we have today! Be sure to show your pride by displaying the Stars and Stripes and take in some fireworks! Happy 4th of July to all and be safe.... As always let me know of upcoming events as soon as you can and I love to hear from folks who have attended events and what they thought of them.
Until next Monday, take some time to just sit and be quiet
Karen
