A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz (Karen@lonekeep.com)
-----------------------------------------------------------
First, I'd like to thank AdaptNet Technologies in Holmdel for sponsoring this issue of the Bulletin. (See ad above for more information) I still can not believe it is Labor Day and that soon the weather will get cooler and the leaves will change color. Not to mention that schools open this week! Where did the summer go? I hope all of you had a wonderful summer. I have found some fun events coming up for those of you who are still in the summer mode and looking for fun things to do... Don't forget you can sponsor an issue of the Bulletin if you like! It's as simple as going to www.lonekeep.com/jscib and click on sponsoring, just fill out the form and read through the instructions and that's it. So until next time, relax and be well. Karen

I am pleased to annouce our Winners in the first ever Lighthouse Award!! First, I'd like to say that there were close to 40 nominees and it was very difficult to choose from all the teriffic nominees... We hope to continue awarding the Lighthouse Award to those shining sites of the Jersey Shore... Now to the winners... In the Personal Site Category, first place goes to A Tribute to Laurel & Hardy and second place goes to Dan's Wide World of Stuff. In the category for Community Information, the first place winner is the Monmouth County SPCA and second place goes to the Miss America Photo Gallery at Smokies Cafe. Finally, in the Business/Commercial category first place goes to WRAT, The Rat, Radio station and second place goes to First Ave. Playhouse of Atlantic Highlands. These sites showed creativity, are fun and all offer interesting information for Jersey Shore residents. Be sure to take a moment and check them out. I have listed them below under the Local Sites heading and they appear on the Lone Keep web site Winners Page at www.lonekeep.com/jscib. Thanks again to all those who submitted nominees and remember, we will be sponsoring another contest so be on the lookout for sites in the Jersey Shore that you think deserve to be recognized and submit them to www.lonekeep.com/jscib under the Lighthouse Award.
