A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah the New Year! It is like a clean slate ready to accept new things!! Many people make New Year resolutions only to be disappointed in a few weeks or months. Sometimes it is because the resolutions are to many or unrealistic. Instead why not pick one or two goals and don't just say it but rather write them or draw them. Then place the paper in a spot you see everyday like the kitchen fridge, the dashboard of the car or the bathroom mirror. That way each and every day you will be reminded of your goals. Perhaps this year you will take up a new hobby, exercise more often, volunteer or try something new... Just remember only you can determine if you succeed or fail and there is always tomorrow to try again if today did not work out the way you hoped!

Please feel free to email me and let me know if you particularly enjoyed something and do not forget to check out our sponsors for great gift ideas for the upcoming holidays!!!

Until January 19th, here's hoping that 2004 will be all you hoped for and more....
Karen

I volunteer for the Monmouth County SPCA. A group of us volunteers have created a new 2004 "New Beginnings" calendar, featuring some of our happiest adoptions. I was wondering if you would include the following blurb advertising this fundraiser. We were able to get local businesses to sponsor the production of the calendar, so every penny made goes directly to the animals. We are very excited! If you want, you can read more at www.monmouthcountyspca.org/calendar.htm
