A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope everyone weathered the snow well. It sure made for slippery conditions but it did look beautiful the first day. Now the rush seems to be on for the holidays! Please don't forget to do something special to just enjoy the season and share it with loved ones. Take in a seasonal show or concert, check out a local happening! Nowadays we seem to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season and then it is past. Don't forget to give some thought to your New Year's goals, too. Maybe take a class or a new hobby. Getting in shape is always a big one. How about volunteering for an organization? Give it some thought... Please feel free to email me and let me know if you particularly enjoyed something and do not forget to check out our sponsors for great gift ideas for the upcoming holidays!!!
Until January 5th, may your holidays be filled with joy, peace and love....

P.S. Just attended the Shrewsbury Chorale concert, Christmas in Leipzig, and it was fantastic!! It certainly shows the talent of the local folks and gave me goosebumps! Be sure to check them out in March in their Music of Ireland concert! The site is www.shrewsburychorale.org

I volunteer for the Monmouth County SPCA. A group of us volunteers have created a new 2004 "New Beginnings" calendar, featuring some of our happiest adoptions. I was wondering if you would include the following blurb advertising this fundraiser. We were able to get local businesses to sponsor the production of the calendar, so every penny made goes directly to the animals. We are very excited! If you want, you can read more at www.monmouthcountyspca.org/calendar.htm
