A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to September! I have always loved September because for me as a 3rd grade teacher (17 years now!) it is like my second "new year's day." It is time to start fresh with a new group of students, try new things, learn new things and just enjoy watching the children grow... It is also my favorite time of year because of the weather and nature around us. The days can be cool and pleasant and the evenings bring a hint of the oncoming autumn. For us here at the Shore it means a return to quieter weekends and even quieter weekdays. Yet we can still enjoy going to the beach as well! How can you not love this time of year?! Be sure to check out some of the area's happenings and events to enjoy on a beautiful late summer day. Also take along a loved one to make it twice as nice.. Please feel free to email me and let me know if you particularly enjoyed something and do not forget to check out our sponsors especially Utterly Delicious for those yummy burgers. There is a reason they are called utterly delicious - because they ARE!
Until September 15th, good luck to all those students returning to school and to their families, too!
Karen
