A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Richard M.J. Jarosz
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Secret was a best-selling 2006 self-help book written by
Rhonda Byrne, based on the earlier film of the same name. It is based on the law of
attraction and claims that positive thinking can create life-changing results such as
increased wealth, health, and happiness. I started reading the book looking for the
"Secret" which was only revealed around page 28 and I put down the book very
disappointed! I knew the secret and have been using it all my life. That's when it dawned
on me all these books, all the books in the self-help aisle at Barnes & Noble, all the
business books; they all told me nothing new!!!! The field of science is perhaps the best
illustration of how success always seems to come to those who apply the principle of
accurate thinking in a persistent, determined effort, otherwise known as the law of
attraction. America's great inventor Thomas A. Edison is said to have failed 10,000 times
in his attempt to develop a workable electric light bulb. He learned from each failure and
refused to quit until he succeeded. There you all know the secret.
Go forth and do...

Kiva is an organization that makes loans to people in "underprivileged" areas
throughout the world (including the US). Applicants ask for a loan amount, then loans are
then backed by lenders like you and me, in minimum $25 increments. This helps increase
their ability to raise their standard of living. Check out www.Kiva.org
