A WORD OR TWO FROM ME
by Karen E. Jarosz (Karen@lonekeep.com)
-----------------------------------------------------------
It has been a bit warm lately and I hope you are all keeping cool and remembering to take
it
easy and drink plenty of fluids! I am sending this issue out early because I won't be
available
on Monday to send the newsletter out so I thought I would send it to you early. For you
that means
getting a jumpstart on going out and enjoying what there is to do, I hope. Maybe take a
walk at Holmdel
Park, check out a lecture at Barnes & Noble, enjoy a concert or have fun at a
carnival! Whatever you
choose, bring someone along to enjoy it with and just relax in these hazy days of summer
because before
we know it the days will grow cooler and fall will be upon us. If you know of any upcoming
events in
the area let me know and I will be happy to include them in an issue. Thanks!
Congratulations to Cynthia Simons! She is our first winner in the TriplePlay Contest we
had in July!
Cynthia receives three issues worth of a sponsor ad! (A $120 value) We found the contest
to be fun and
received such positive response that we thought we would continue so be on the lookout in
the upcoming
issues for the event or link that is repeated three times. The readers who email me the
correct event or link
and correct issue will be placed into a monthly drawing to win three issues worth of a
sponsor ad, a $120
value! Hence, the name "Triple Play!" You can email your entries to
tripleplay@lonekeep.com and
include the event or link and the newsletter issue number/date. See the "Triple Play!
Contest" section for
additional details. The next drawing will be held in early September, so get those emails
in...
Don't forget you can sponsor an issue too. Just go to www.lonekeep.com/jscib and click
on sponsor.
Until September 7th, go out and have fun!
